Meet The Instruments! Programs

Recognizing the importance of introducing children to the joy of musical instruments early on, our new Meet The Instruments! Program for kids in Kindergarten to Grade 3 currently offers a hands-on introduction to Meet The Violin! This specially crafted 3-month program provide a solid foundation in music education, allowing young minds to discover the joy of playing a musical instrument while honing essential skills in a supportive and engaging atmosphere. The program welcomes all beginning students whether they have previous music experience, or they are just starting their musical journeys.

Class sizes will be restricted to 8 students.

The next Meet The Violin! class will run for 10 weeks on Wednesdays from 5-6 pm, starting September 4, 2024.
*Please note, you will need to rent a violin to participate in this program, no instrument is provided*

Isabella Rohner-Tensee

Violin

Isabella Rohner-Tensee

Isabella has been playing both violin and piano since she was five years old, and has been teaching for the past six years. She recently moved to Kamloops from Ontario, where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Child Studies from the University of Guelph. Having completed her Grade 8 Royal Conservatory for Violin, she enjoys working with students of all ages, and emphasizes individualizing lesson plays for each student so they can learn to really enjoy playing their chosen instrument. Isabella is excited to start teaching music lessons in Kamloops, and play in the  Kamloops Brandenburg Orchestra.
