This class is for senior voice students who wish to further their understanding of performing repertoire in a variety of languages. Students will study the intricacies of phoneme production, learn how to write IPA transcriptions and be introduced to important technical vocabulary. This course will be offered over two terms: Term One will focus on Italian, German, and French, and Term Two will focus on Latin, Spanish and English. Students will learn one piece of classical repertoire of their choice for each language. Suggestions for repertoire will also be available to support students.
